My Book and My Blogiversary Giveaway

Official Book Publication Day!

Today is the official publication date of my first published book, Train Your Way to Financial Fitness. I started writing this book over a year ago right before I started my own company, NextGen Financial. During my years as a financial advisor, I witnessed clients making a number of different money mistakes and many of them asked me if there was a book that I could recommend them to help them.I honesty could not think of one. The problem I found with many personal finance books was that they were one-noted. They don’t seem to take into account varied personalities and different solutions based on those. It’s kind of like physical fitness advice. You would not give the same advice to a physically fit client as you would to someone who is overweight and out of shape. Yet they both need to work on their physical health.

Are you Financially Fit, Financially Skinny or Financially Fat?

Financial health advice and physical health advice are similar where the same advice does not always apply to everyone. So I wrote this book with those different personality types in mind. In the book is a quiz that allows you to determine your financial health and from there, you only read the section that pertains to you and your financial health type. I break down the book into three types, Financially Fit, Financially Skinny and Financially Fat.A Financially Fit person is one who lives within their means and makes smart money choices consistently. A Financially Skinny person is someone who lives paycheck to paycheck or can’t seem to get ahead on their goals. A Financially Fat person is someone who has too little cash and / or too much debt.

Financial Health Types Are Not Set In Stone

The great thing that I have experienced personally with my own financial journey as well as the journeys of my clients, is that everyone has the ability to get and stay Financially Fit. Some of us will have a longer road and more difficult work ahead; however, we all can get there and I give lots of tools and exercises for how to do this in the book.I have a bet with my publisher on how quickly I can become a bestselling author and I would love it if you could help me get there. This book is available in eBook and print format. You can buy it from a number of sources; however, it is definitely available on Amazon and Barnes and Noble. I hope you purchase it for yourself or someone who you think could use some extra help getting Financially Fit.giveaway
