Last Week / First Week of the Year

Happy 2015 everyone!!! Every year, this week feels surreal to me because you begin it in one year and you end it in another. It's just a few days, but a big mental mind shift. My last Music Monday of 2014 was actually written by my hubby, and I had no idea what he would write, but his post Teacher, Teacher, really meant a lot to me. It was like a blog post love letter. :-) On Wednesday, I shared my top ten favorite posts of the year and Friday I have Stefanie on my podcast talking about her new book, The Broke and Beautiful Life. I also shared a reflection of my year over at Stacking Benjamins.I am going to do a little super sized weekly roundup this week in honor of the last week/first week of the year. A number of blogs shared their top posts of the year in honor of the end of the year and I always love those posts because it gives new readers a chance to catch up and old readers a great trip down blog memory lane. A number of other bloggers shared their resolutions for 2015, so I will highlight those as well.

My favorite year end wrap up posts:

  1. The Frugalwoods - Here's to a Frugal and Woodsy 2015
  2. Young Adult Money - Best of Young Adult Money 2014
  3. Budgets Are Sexy - Best Finance Articles of 2014
  4. Making Sense of Cents - 14 Popular Posts of 2014

Congratulations!!!

Congratulations to my FinCon friend, Kylie Travers, who officially changed her name from Kylie Ofiu to officially cleanse herself of her abusive ex-husband. Congratulations to Michelle from Fit is the New Poor on her pregnancy. I know she has struggled with fertility, so it was nice to see this post. Finally, congratulations to Kate at Cashville Skyline on her blog anniversary.I hope that everyone had a wonderful New Year's celebration. In the Financially Blonde home, we stayed in, I wore yoga pants, we drank Champagne that was a Christmas gift and enjoyed a fire built by Hubby. So, in other words, it was absolutely perfect. :-)

How did you celebrate New Year's Eve? What's your biggest goal for 2015?
